Election Manager 2016 is a sophisticated strategic election simulation game where you oversee your ticket in an effort to secure your candidate's position as President of the United States. The game offers various scenarios, ranging from a recreation of the 2012 election to a four-way election between independent parties. Additionally, players can design virtually any two-to-four-way election scenario they can imagine.

The Election Manager 2016 engine utilizes actual historical and demographic data to generate realistic election results, incorporating factors such as partisan inclinations and voter responsiveness. The game introduces a strategic dimension by requiring players to consider not only states but also media markets. For example, to target the 14 electoral votes of New Jersey, players must invest money in advertising within the Philadelphia or New York City markets — although substantial portions of those markets are located in other states. Thus, players must deliberate whether it's truly worthwhile to allocate those resources there or if they would be better spent pursuing other states instead.

While Election Manager empowers you with complete control over your strategy, it also provides tools to assist with managing it. This includes an AI campaign manager to whom you can delegate any or all parts of your strategy, from campaign stops to ad purchases to state offices to polling. The game features:
